Witches Potion Bottle

Hi all Erin Reed here today as a guest designer for the month of October!  I love to save bottles, truth be told I have way to many I have saved waiting for a perfect project to use it on, but that is a whole other topic of my crafty hoarding.  Today I am bringing you a fun little spin on a potion bottle made from a upcycled barbecue bottle I have in that now not so secret stash of mine.

Here is a video on how to use your stencils to etch glass!!

I used the Scary Web 6×6 Stencil and used a spray to stick the stencil to the bottle (don’t worry the spray cleans right off when you are done using it), and then applied the etching creme to etch the bottle.  It is so easy and gives amazing results!

I then added in some fun swirls and bling to complete the look of the bottle. I loved adding on all the little gems and metals pieces to bring the look together, like a potion bottle that is ready to be sent into a witches brew cupboard.  Almost like it should be a bottle in a potions class in Hogwarts!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wickedly wonderful Halloween!!
