Hi, It’s Gracie Chavez and I’m back with a new tutorial. I’ll show you how to easily achieve a shadow stenciled effect using Deco Foil.

To make this background, just follow these easy steps:

Step 1. Use TCW732 Celtic Design Stencil to apply Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink to a white card panel.

Step 2. Next, shift the stencil to the left just a little bit and apply Deco Foil Transfer Gel to the card panel, using a palette knife. Let the gel dry completely until it is clear.

Step 3. Cover the stenciled card panel with Copper Deco Foil Transfer Sheets and run it through a laminator.

Step 4. Optional – Apply some ink spray to soften and blend the background on some areas.

Now all there is to do is embellish the background. I used digital stamps to get the same copper foiled finish from the background. With digital stamps all you need to do is print them on a laser printer, cover them with Deco Foil and run them through the laminator. I colored the flowers with watercolor markers and added a banner with an inspiring verse.
