Hi Everyone!
It’s summer time and I love fields of wild flowers.
All those colors, textures and sizes.
The new Summer stencil called Wild Blooms (TCW725) reminds of a field of wild flowers.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project.
The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.
While editing my photographs of flowers, I took one and turned it black and white. I didn’t like it in black and white but thought I could try the same thing on canvas.
To create these I took two 6×6 cradled wood panels and added TCW Modeling Paste for texture in the background.
When the modeling paste dried, I added a script stamp with black archival ink. I then put both panels together and spray painted a black circle on them.
I added stamped tissue paper to spots on both canvas.
I added a glaze of black paint and wiped off the access then added the Wild Blooms with TCW modeling paste. To add more texture I added some splatters of white and black paint.
Here are the finished pieces.
Even though I love the colors of wild flowers, I’m loving these in black and white. Do you create any of your projects in black and white?
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Look for the new stencils in retailers at the end of August!!!
We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums.
