Hi Everyone!
Today I’m going to show you how I created new flowers with TCW Gesso.
This isn’t a new technique but its so much fun.
Here are the supplies I used:
TCW White Gesso
TCW Black Gesso
TCW686 Julie’s Words Stencil 12×12
TCW Clear Modeling Paste
Silk/Cloth Flowers
Small Wooden Palette
I took apart a few silk flower stems because many of them use more than one flower to create a full flower.
Next I dipped them into white and black gesso. TCW’s gessos are creamy and wonderful to use and not real thick. Once I dipped them in I let the gesso drip off a bit but left it on thick.
While they dried, I painted the small wood palette with TCW Black Gesso and mixed fluorescent pink paint into TCW Clear Modeling Paste.
Then I put it through Julie’s Words stencil to add it to the wooden palette.
Then I used more florescent paints to added splatters.
Now that the flowers are dried I can’t paint them anyway I want.
Here is the finished piece.
Thanks so much for stopping.
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.
We would love to see what you create with The Crafters Workshop Stencils and Mediums.
