This month we are in a Match Up with Canvas Corp Brands to show you unique ways to use The Crafters Workshop stencils and mediums with a variety of Canvas Corp Brands surfaces, Glimmer Glam Paints and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.

Don’t forget to see details at the bottom on how you can win a wonderful prize that is worth over $50 in goodies from TCW and CCB.

Today I have another project for the Match-Up.
Here are the supplies I used.

TCW Stencils:
TCW676 Party Lights

 TCW684 Bird Gathering

TCW681 Bauhaus

TCW Black Modeling Paste
TCW Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste
TCW Gel Medium Matte
TCW Modeling Paste
TCW Black Gesso
CCB Burlap – Teal and Yellow
Golden Fluorescent High Flow Acrylics
White Paper Flowers

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.

I painted a 6×6 cradled wood panel with black gesso. When it dried I took the Teal CCB Burlap and cut it up and pulled it apart to look torn and distressed. I first just auditioned the burlap piece so I would know where to put the stencil.

Using the new TCW Black Modeling Paste I added the Bauhaus stencil to parts of the wood panel.

When it dried I added the high flower acrylics.

When the high flow acrylics dried I attached the Teal Burlap with TCW Gel Medium.

While it dried I cut a piece of the yellow burlap and pulled it apart.

I wanted to add a light from the Party Lights stencil but I didn’t want the inside part of the stencil.  I used painters tape to block off the parts I didn’t want.

I used TCW modeling paste through the stencil to add it to the wood panel. When it dried, I added the two little girls and the cut CCB burlap.

To keep the bright colors throughout my project, I painted the grass bright yellow and added the flowers which I painted.

While I waiting for it to dry I was going through all the new 2017 stencils and found the Bird Gathering stencil. I added the bird the heavy weight black card stock with Light and Fluffy Modeling Paste.  Then used the high flow acrylics to add color.

I added more of the Bauhaus stencil on the top of the blue burlap.

I attached the bird with TCW Gel Medium.
I then changed my mind.
Because I really wanted the bird on the canvas I added eggs to the party light and took out the two little girls.

Here it is all finished.

I’m loving it now that I put in the eggs.
As you can see TCW + Canvas Corp Brands products are a perfect match.
