Oh but what if you fly….. A New Canvas by Karenliz

Hi Everyone!
Today I’m going to show you how I created this gift for my daughter.
karenliztcwdtfly6First, I brushed on TCW’s White Gesso on a 10″x 10″ stretched canvas and when it dried I painted the sky. I wanted some texture so I used a palette knife and added more TCW’s White Gesso to the canvas. Added more paint to the sky and greens for the grass.  It all dried and I used TCW’s Modeling Paste and added the  Angel Wings (TCW616).

I painting the Wings in with TCW’s White Gesso. To add the quote (Yvonne Blair/Impression Obsession) I stamped it on tissue paper.  When applying it to the canvas the tissue paper gives the allusion that you stamped on the canvas.

I added the flowers from Flying Garden stencil (TCW513) with TCW’s Modeling Paste and painted each flower with acrylic paints.  I then added the image of the little girl (from my stash) and added a little color to the wings to give them definition.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with stencils and mediums to create this project.

The opinions I share are solely my own because I do love to use them.
