Hello friends! This is Carmen and I’m back with you again with a fun and easy tutorial. Easter is almost here! Are you getting some baskets ready for the kids? My two kiddies are grown, but I remember getting the baskets ready and then leaving them on the front door from the Easter Bunny.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.
Supplies used…
- #10 Manila Tags
- TCW2112 Bunny Fragment
- TCW595 Pebbles Tied
- Americana Acrylics paint Wisteria, Desert Turquoise, Soft Sage, Banana Cream
- Buttons
- Charcoal Pencil
- Tacky Glue
I started off by first painting the tag with a layer of acrylic paint in Banana Cream and Wisteria. These are soft Spring colors that are perfect for the Easter theme. Using the Pebbles Tied stencil and Desert Turquoise paint to give the illusion of Easter eggs.
This little bunny fragment is perfect for tracing the shape and then painting the inside with soft sage paint. Once dry I outlined it with charcoal pencil.
For the bunny tail I found a button in my stash and adhered with tacky blue.
This little tag is perfect for writing a special message on the back and tying it to an Easter basket.
It really adds a personal touch to the gift and can be kept as a keepsake. I’m loving these new The Crafter’s Workshop stencils! Stay tuned for more tutorials and projects!
