Stencil + String = String Art Fun

Hello there today I have a super fun project to share with you all. I have a few cat lovers in this house but we don’t actually have a cat.  So I decided that some string art would be fun as I have a basket full of wool.

Lets take a peek at my project first.

“Mr Cat – String Art”

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.

Lets get started… I used an odd piece of wood that was lying around in the shed. A quick sand and a couple of coats of gesso or you could go with the natural wood grain.

I used the TCW583 Kitties stencil and trace around the shape.

Next was banging small nails around the outline. Once that was completed, decide on your thread. The next step is simply you tie a knot on one nail and just zig zag you way round. and tie off at the end.

Thanks for popping by today.
