Hello everyone, Jen here to share with you an easy way to work with watercolors and card design.
Supplies:
- Watercolors
- Paintbrush
- water + water jar
- Optional: sea salt
- Watercolor paper
- Stencils: I used, TCW 583 Kitties and a portion of TCW 2086 Love Remnant
Step 1:
Prepare your space; with your watercolor paper, place stencil and paint over image.
Here is one cat from TCW 583 Kitties
Choose your color of paint. You will want to make sure you don’t have too much water on your brush as it will bleed over the stencil.
Step 2: Optional step: I added some sea salt for texture over the wet paint.
Step 3: I filled in the rest of the card with more color.
Step 3:
Adding more detail with TCW 2086 Love Remnant. I used a makeup sponge and ink to adding detail to the side of the card.
ink up your makeup sponge and lightly rub over stencil.
I then added this thank you stamp and the card is complete!
Hope you enjoyed this post.
Cheers,
Jen
