Happy Autumn to all my fellow stencil lovers! This is Rachel Kleinman popping in today to share some elegant autumn greeting cards made using The Crafter’s Workshop stencils.

Let me take you through the steps to create these cards…

I started with the Leafy Branches 6×6 stencil (how perfect is this stencil for autumn?!) and taped the stencil down to my card.

Next I started mixing my modeling paste. I chose 3 autumn ink colors to mix into my modeling paste: Distress ink Fossilized Amber, Abandoned Coral, and Spiced Marmalade.

Then I used my palette knife to spread my colored modeling paste on top of the stencil. I added each color individually until the card front was filled…

Now comes the best part! Slooooowly peeling away the tape and the stencil off of the card

I love how the colors mixed together slightly, almost making an ombre look. But seriously guys, how perfect is the Leafy Branches stencil for the fall?!

I still had some modeling paste left over that was already mixed with my ink colors, so I set that one aside to dry and started on another card…

This time I used the Lace 6×6 stencil, which has quickly become a versatile favorite of mine. I’ve already used it for Halloween cards, fall cards, and an anniversary card. Anyways, I followed the same steps as above to cover the front of the card with the inked modeling paste.

Next comes some accent bits! I filled up a page with flowers and butterflies from the new Butterflight 6×6 stencil. These were also made with inked modeling paste, this time using Distress Ink in Dusty Concord and Seedless Preserves.

Now time to fussy cut!

Now all that’s left is to finish off the cards…

The one with the Lace stencil on white cardstock is easily my favorite of the two…
