Hi Everyone! I’m back again with another new stencil by Designer Carmen Medlin. It’s called Evergreens (TCW518s). I love trees in my art so I’m in love with this stencil.
Trees don’t have to be green and I love to use color. The background was created with acrylic paints in blues and greens, washi tape and a wash of white acrylic paints. I then added the stencil designs with light modeling paste. I dried it a little with a heat gun and then added acrylic inks and when the modeling paste is still a little wet it soaks up the inks.
I added string to the bottom and stapled a tag that says it all.
Here is the finished tag.
Tags are the perfect size to play with new stencils. I love to use them and if I don’t like they way it came out, I rip up the tag and use pieces in other art.
Do you like to use trees in your art? If you do check out Carmen Medlin’s new stencils.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
