Welcome to day 1 of our inspiration-filled, fun-filled festival during our team’s Creatastic Blog Hop.  Join us each day as we share amazing projects created by our Design Team members.   Susan K Weckesser’s Design Team will be sharing projects they create over on their site too.  Both teams will be using Susan K Weckesser Inc products as well as stencils by The Crafter’s Workshop.

Now, make sure you visit both blogs, because we are going to have some fun prize packages given away each day on both sites.  You need to leave comments each day for a chance to win!  We also encourage you to stop by and become a fan of Susan K Weckesser Facebook Page and The Crafter’s Workshop Facebook Page because that is where we will announce the winners.

Hello Karenliz here.  Welcome to our Creatastic Blog Hop where we are celebrating our partnership with Susan K. Weckesser.

As soon as I saw Susan’s stamp set called Grandma’s Needle Point, I knew exactly what stencil and stamps I wanted to use for a tiny canvas.

Supplies:
Susan K. Weckesser – Grandma’s Needlepoint stamp set
Susan K. Weckesser – Color Burst 12×12 Paper
TCW251s Mini Branches Template
4″x2″ Canvas Panel
Acrylic Paints
Modeling Paste
Ranger Archival Ink – Jet Black
Golden Gel Medium

I added acrylic paints to the canvas panel. When dry added the modeling paste through the Mini Branches Template and then painted the branches.

I stamped the two little birds from the stamp set on the Color Burst paper and cut them out. To add their nest I cut strips from the same paper and attached them to the canvas with gel medium. Using archival ink I stamped the quote at the bottom.

Too cute right? I love to work with tiny canvas and Susan’s stamps in this set are perfect for them.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
