Hello artsy peeps! Rita Barakat here with a another way to use your TCW Stencils! Think BIG with 12×12 TCW Stencils! How about a wall hanging?
The first thing I did was use a light color wash over my entire surface, drew my girl and taped off some stripes with painters tape.
Then I grabbed some 12×12 TCW stencils, gelatos and started coloring every other stripe. (TCW Harlequin Stencil )
Here’s a look at the overall project. *Tip when doing a large project line up the stencil over your last stenciled parts, to continue your pattern on larger surfaces.
Once you have finished the first colored stencil remove the tape and realign the tape strips on the inside of the Harlequin stripes.
Grab another stencil and color ( I grabbed TCW Flower Frenzy) and do the same on the blank stripes.
Here is the finished project! What do you think? What will your use your stencils for next?
Blessings!
Rita
