Creating a Large Tag Using Hand Drawn Frames Stencil – TCW474s

Hi Karenliz here! I’m so excited to show you how a happy accident helped me create this project.

My Supplies:
TCW474s – Hand Drawn Frames
TCW478s – Beaded Curtain
Liquitex Acrylic Inks
Golden Gel Medium/Modeling Paste
VivaLasVegas Stamps
Core’dination 110lbs. Card Stock – White
Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Halloween Blueprint Stamp

First, I cut the Core’dinations card stock to 9″ x 4″ and added bits of a stamp from VivaLasVegaStamps, then I took the Beaded Curtain stencil and used modeling paste through the stencil for the background. Once it was dry I used Liquitex Acrylic Ink and water and added it to the tag.  After this picture was taken, I decided to add some yellow to the tag too.

Now for the happy accident. I dropped the Hand Drawn Frames stencil full of black gel medium by accident onto my plastic paint palette. When it dried the frames were perfect to cut out and use as embellishments. I left some of the plastic in the frames to create a really cool look. To complete the large tag, I attached to frames with gel medium and added the stamped bat and a few paper punched bats.

Sometimes accidents are truly happy.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
