Hello Karenliz here. I have a mixed media project to share. This was created on watercolor paper and using following:
Stencils:
TCW228s – Herringbone
TCW283s – Pomegranate
TCW252s – Aspen Trees
Liquitex Spray Paints
Miscellaneous Rub Ons
To create the background I used the Herringbone and Pomegranate stencils plus the Liquitex Spray Paints.
Once dry I put the Aspen Tree stencil on stop and first sprayed it with black paint and then used a sponge and applied white acrylic paint over the black. Using both colors gives the trees the a little shading and depth.
The trees aren’t exactly ordinary but I love the quote. It makes you think. Can you imagine all the colors you can use to create these trees? Go grab your stencil and start creating!
