Creating Texture with Stencils

Hi there,

Karen here, sharing a card that I created using the Sea Creatures stencil from the new Summer 2014 stencil collection. I absolutely love all of the newly released stencils.  They inspire you to create time and time again.

When I received my huge box of lovely stencils, I instantly fell in love with the Sea Creatures (TCW496s) stencil, mainly because of the summer theme and versatility. I can create layouts, cards, tags, and so much more with this beautiful pattern.

The project that I am sharing with you today is a card that I created with loads of texture. It was fun to create as I used some of the older stencils with the new. I love the versatility with TCW’s stencils. The stencils coordinate beautifully together and really compliment each other. Thanks so much to Core’dinations for being so generous with their wonderful products. The Core’dinations cardstock complimented the overall design.

  1. thank you for the tutorial, for this creative design. Since I don;t have embossing paste this is so good for me to use a new technique with my folders, and stencils I am building, and paste on my wish list. I love your creation.

  2. Beautiful card! Love the sea horse and other sea stencils!! Wonderful beachy colors too. Great tutorial, I love seeing how things change and evolve. Thanks for sharing.
