A Quick and Easy Watercolor Background

Hello everyone!

I love the soft look of watercolors so here I’m going to show you a super easy way to create your own soft, dreamy, watercolor background!

I used TCW439 Retrobursts, watercolor paper, a Faber Castell PItt pen, and Neocolor 2 watersoluble crayons.

First, use your template and pen to outline your design however you’d like.

Next, color in the drawing with the crayons.

Finally, take a water bottle and spray the colored parts. You can spray everything at once or in sections. I misted in sections so that different groups of retrobursts dripped in different directions.

And that’s it! Now you have a unique background that you can layer to create your page! Here’s some close ups:
