Hi Karenliz here. I was playing around with light modeling paste and stencils had to tell about a new technique. It may be a new or old technique to you but for me it’s new and I had a blast playing with it.
First I used these two stencils, light modeling paste, distress inks, re-inkers and a spray bottle full of water.
I used the Specimen stencil and distress inks to create the background for my tag.
Add the Wildflowers stencil to the tag by using light modeling paste. I find the light modeling paste works the best. Use your heat gun to dry it for a few minutes. This is an important step if not dryed you will lose the stencil image. Spray it with water then using the re-inkers let a drop fall on the light modeling paste. The light modeling soaks up the color like a sponge. You can spray it with water again if you want it to spread more.
I added acrylic paint on the stems and a little gold on the flowers. Do you love it? I had so much playing that I need to order more re-inkers. Grab your stencils and re-inkers and start playing!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Karenliz
