How about a good old-fashioned eye chart?

Dina here, with another one of my new stencil designs! This time it’s an eye chart…fun, yes?

For this scrapbook page, I just used the Eye Chart stencil and ink spray…simple & fast.

I used ink spray and the stencil for this art journal page background, too. I also used a dry brush and acrylic paint with the stencil on the central collage piece.

Pokey Bolton

Have you seen what Pokey Bolton is doing these days? No? Well you should keep an eye on this girl! She’s best known in the Quilting industry for her surface design and quilting. But she’s been branching out a bit…these are cut up file folders that Pokey used “coloring agents” on. Nice, right?

And here is Pokey playing with our stencils (see front right paw of doggie on table) with her setacolor paints.  (Note fabric drying in background…close-up shot below)dickens-watching-fabrics-dry

Note our lovely Cosmic Swirl and Cosmic Bubbles as it translates to fabric. pretty, pretty, pretty!!

Winter CHA 2013: Picture Perfect by Ronda Palazzari

Ronda Palazzari Picture Perfect

Hello again!  It’s Ronda here to introduce you to the next of my new stencils coming out in January with The Crafter’s Workshop!  Today I am sharing with you my Picture Perfect Stencil.  I adore taking photographs, especially candids.  I love capturing those unscripted moments of daily life that tells our stories.  As this love grew so did my vintage camera collection which inspired this stencil.  I sat down and drew out some of my favorites both vintage & modern.

Ronda Palazzari Picture Perfect 6x6

Whether you love taking photographs or have photographs you love, this stencil is the perfect accompaniment.  Here are a few examples I created using both the 12×12 and 6×6 stencils.

Ronda Palazzari Express

This art journal pages uses the 12×12 stencil on the background with some light modeling paste and gesso.  I love how they are subtle but still tell my story.

This layout uses both the 12×12 and 6×6 stencils.  I traced the stencil onto patterned paper and then layered it to create the embellishment on the left.  I love the little camera on the right. it’s just the perfect size and looks so adorable on the yellow paper.

Ronda Palazzari Capture

This tag uses the 12×12 stencil and watercolor crayons & pencils to create a beautiful watercolor effect.

I cannot wait to see your creations with my stencils.

Martha Richardson

Martha Richardson has been a longtime groupie of ours. So I was so happy to find her blog post showing how she creates papers that she later uses in her layouts and projects.   Here is a photos of some of her background papers just waiting to be cut by her Vagabond and Sizzix dies.

Have a very Merry Christmas from the TCW elves and I. Enjoy.

Another new stencil from Dina…introducing “Vine”

Howdy, I’m back with another new stencil design. As a reminder, all of these new designs will unveil at the winter CHA tradeshow, in mid-January. This is “Vine.”

Here are a couple of scrapbook pages I made with Vine. On the page below, I used it with Dylusions Ink Sprays to make a background. Can you also spot it on the turquoise “ribbon” paper? That is a gelli print that I made and then cut up.

You have seen the page below, because I shared it when we talked about the Church Windows stencil. Can you spot the Vine? I sprayed through the vine on some cardstock, then cut it out and layered it on.
